Samples

Bricks of Wine started out as a blog to document my attempts at making wine but quickly grew to include reviews about the wines I tasted, wineries I visited, wine events I attended and just about anything wine related. My wine reviews range from expensive cult-wines to bottom-shelf bargain wines and I love to write about my fine dining experiences. I’m the new kid on the block but already I’m read by thousands of wine lovers, foodies and home winemakers each month and getting more visibility every day.

The only way to gain more experience with wine is to try new wines. That’s not only a daunting task, but possibly an expensive one as well. If you’re a winery, wine importer, wine distributor or marketing firm—especially one located in Washington state—and would like to send samples or promotional items, I’d love to try your product. Although I can’t guarantee a positive review or even any review at all, I will try to post my experiences in exchange for samples or even a visit to your facility. I’m also a gadget geek and chocolate lover so these kinds of products are especially appreciated. Just remember, products reviewed will include full disclosure of the source, so that press junket to Argentina will have to be documented.

I’m also entertaining opportunities for cross-posting of my reviews or wine-related sponsorship.

By the way, I love reds and especially Rhône style reds and big Cabs. Oh, and Harlan Estate, if you’re reading this, you can send me samples anytime…hint, hint.
